The major responsibility of these positions is the supervision through the machinery of the Air Operator's Certificate, of operating and training standards of the minor UK air transport operators. The duties include: Checking in-flight procedures including flight management; the standards of crew training; the adequacy of staffing arrangements, the effectiveness of operators schemes for flight time limitations; the adequacy of base-facilities, including documentation, accommodation and communications; the content and presentation of Operations Manuals and the adequacy of pre-flight briefing and planning arrangements. The posts are based in London but the successful applicants will be required to travel extensively. Applicants must hold a current CPL/IR and have the following experience: not less than 2000 hours experience as a pilot, including at least 750 hours in command; sound technical and practical knowledge of aviation and flight techniques.
