FLIGHT International, 10 January 1981 65 DECEMBER 18,1980, DBJAGOT EVEN READIER. By selecting Pratt & Whitney engines Delta will save 1 million dollars a year in fuel costs on each of the 60 Boeing 757s they ordered in November. The PW2037 is the premier engine for the Boeing 757. (Until today, this engine was desig nated the JT10D.) No other engine offers the fuel savings, the proven level of technology, the quiet operation and low emissions of the PW2037 from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. The Delta Board has made a wise choice: when its fleet plan of 60 Boeing 757s goes into operation, the PW2037 will deliver fuel savings of 60 million dollars a year—every year. UNITED TECHNOLOGIES
