SPACEFLIGHT Above Voyager 2's closest approach was to the 500km-diameter moon Miranda, on January 24. Viewed from 42,000km with a 600m resolution, Miranda reveals regions of distinctly differing terrain, including a grooved "chevron" feature. Top right l,600km-diameter Titania, Uranus' largest moon, seen from 369,000km, reveals prominent fault valleys and abundant craters. Centre right Oberon, Uranus' outermost moon, photographed from 660,000km reveals several large impact craters and a 6km-high moun tain (lower left limb). Bottom right Umbriel, viewed from 557,000km, is heavily cratered, with an unexplained bright ring (top).
