SKIES OF ASIA ARE WAITING FOR YOU _: Foundations for the new, permanent exhibition hall have been completed ahead of schedule at the Changi Airport site which includes a 30,000 square meters outside display area for aircraft and other exhibits. Ten national pavilions and companies from 14 different countries have contracted or reserved space. The area allocated for the USA pavilion is 70 per cent filled by 30 companies - 20 of which are industry leaders. Planning for the first-ever aerial displays at Asian Aerospace '88 is well advanced and companies wishing to take part should advise the show manager without delay. Chalets of 72 square meters for viewing these displays are available to companies taking exhibition space. A separate section of the hall has been designated Airfreight' for airlines, airports and equipment manufacturers to display their products and services. Embraer is bringing both its Brazilia and Tucano aircraft and a Learjet 55 will be on display. A prominent feature of the static display area will be USSR's Antonov 124, the world's largest cargo aircraft, with an Antonov 74 designed for Arctic and Antarctic operations. ASIAN .
