AVIATION APPOINTMENTS Airliner Sales Contracts Executive An executive experienced in the negotiation and administration of civil airliner sales contracts is required by Saab Aircraft International (SAIL) at its Headquarters, Windsor, UK. The person appointed will be a key member of a small team of entrepreneurial professionals and will take specific responsibility for the Far East and South America which are new markets for the Saab 340. The Saab 340 Regional Airliner is a market leader in its class with sales of over 40 aircraft in 1987- SAIL is the international marketing company of the Aircraft Division of Saab-Scania AB of Sweden and is responsible for all sales of the Saab 340 outside of North America. The SAIL head office is located in the attractive historic town of Windsor, convenient for London and Heathrow Airport. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will travel abroad frequently and work closely with the SAIL office in Hong Kong. Candidates should be between the ages of 25 and 35 with commercial awareness, an ability to work on their own initiative, and should have a minimum of five years experience in an aircraft sales contracting capacity with a manufacturer or in a related environment. An ability to liaise with customer finance specialists would be an advantage.
