In order to meet the demands and challenges of the 1990's and beyond, we are looking to strengthen all levels of our quality engineering team. r DEPUTY QUALITY MANAGER This is a key role within the quality engineering services and technical support area. Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Audit Manager, you will be in overall control of the performance of quality systems throughout the engineering function. Leading a large team of quality professionals and support staff, you will be responsible for establishing the conditions in which quality practices and procedures are performed to the high standards essential to meet the requirements of the company and regulatory authorities. You are an industry professional, appropriately licenced, currently working in a quality function with an airline operator. A working knowledge of quality auditing systems would be an advantage. Of equal importance is the ability to liaise effectively at every level of the organisation, together with' the initiative, motivation and determination to succeed. Your brief will be to lead a small team in ensuring that quality standards are being maintained in all engineering areas. You will be involved in general quality auditing procedures and the management of a small quality team. You should be a licenced engineer, with at least 2 years' spent in quality engineering in the airline operating industry. First-class all-level communication skills, together witii some man-management/supervisory experience are essential. QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEERS You will work as part of a team of Q.C. professionals, responsible for ensuring that all line and maintenance engineering, meet the highest quality standards; producing accurate reports and carrying out inspection duties. Our need is for experienced aircraft engineers holding relevant approvals/licences to work in airframe/engine or avionics. Your experience will include working on "die line" and/or hangar inspection duties on modern commercial aircraft, preferably witii a fleet operator. Good communication and people skills would be a distinct advantage.
