It's official: Dassault has selected our CFE738 engine to power its Falcon 2000 medium-large business jet. Creating a new class of perfor mance and comfort for corporate jet operators, the Falcon 2000 launches a new breed of flat-floor, stand-up cabin aircraft which will fly with CFE738 power on into the 21st century. CFE: THE ENGINE. Featuring GE's proven advanced- design core, combined with the latest in Garrett's demonstrated high- bypass fan technology, the CFE738 offers: 3,000 nautical mile range at .80 Mach. Cruise up to .85 Mach. Thrust in the 6,000 lb. class, with growth potential to over 7,000 lbs. The assurance of early maturity, based on extensive core engine development and planned operating experience on U.S. Navy P-7A air craft. Simple, easy-to-maintain design for low life-cycle costs. Plus, the CFE738 is good-neighbor quiet - easily satisfying FAR 36 (Stage 3) requirements.
