AEROSPACE APPOINTMENTS College of Air Traffic Control ATC Instructors £22-29,000 Bournemouth It goes without saying that the better the Instructor the more successful the student. Which is why we have always sought people who are not only good controllers but also gifted in terms of translating their own experience into first class instruction for those entering the profession or obtaining further ratings. Our previous advertisements have attracted a lot of excellent people and now we are looking for more. The CAA College of Air Traffic Control at Bournemouth is where we begin the process of turning ab initio recruits into some of the world's most highly respected air traffic controllers. Today, our need for good instructors is higher than ever before due to the continued expansion of our ATC training programme. Over 200 ATCO cadets will join the training programme each year. We need instructors for both Aerodrome/Approach and Area training and ideally you will have a CAA ATC licence, operational experience and previous involvement in training. We would also like to hear from controllers who have not been involved in training before but who would like their career to take a new direction. After about five years at the College you can expect to return to operational work at a NATS unit. Starting salaries commensurate with experience will be in the range £22-29K.
