THE FLIGHT INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE HELICOPTER OPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD TO BE AWARDED IN CONJUNCTION WITH HELIFEST '91 The British helicopter industry is set to receive an enormous boost to its public profile when Helifest '91 takes place at Duxford Airfield in August. In support of the British helicopter industry and helifest '91, Flight International is offering a trophy to the helicopter operator who in the opinion of the judges based on the information given on the entry form, is making the best use of his corporate helicopter. A unique trophy will be presented at Helifest '91, and the winner will also be featured in Flight International so if you feel your helicopter operation is worthy of the Flight International accolade, then don't delay in sending in your entry by 19th August 1991. ENTRY FORM 1) How many helicopters are operated by your company? a) Piston-engined b) Single-engined turbine c) Multi-engined turbine 2) How many hours total operating time does the fleet perform every year? • • • 3) How many hours has the fleet operated without incident? 4) What percentage of flying hours are devoted to: a) transporting company executives b) transporting customers c) crew training d) performing community service e) leased out to other operators f) transporting goods/parts etc 5) How many executive man-hours do you estimate your helicopter(s) save your company each year? <100 D 100-500 • 500-1,000 D 1,000-2,000 D >2,000 • 6) What is the most innovative use to which your heiicopter(s) have been put? - INTERNATIONAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1) The competition is open to all UK-based companies which operate helicopters, provided that the main business of the company is not operation of helicopters for hire or reward; 2) Entries may be made by the managing director or chief pilot of the operating company, or any other employee who has the written permission of the managing director or chief pilot to make that entry; 3) All entries must be on the official entry form (photocopies will be accepted); 4) There may be only one entry per company; 5) There are no limitations on the type of helicopter operated, but the helicopter(s) operated by the company must be owned by the company or leased by it for the principal use of that company; 6) All entries must be received at the headquarters office of Flight International by 12 noon on Monday 19 August 1991; 7) The Flight International trophy for the Corporate Helicopter Operator of the Year will be awarded on Monday 26 August during Helifest, at Duxford Aerodrome, Duxford, Cambridgeshire; 8) All entries become the property of the promoters of the competition, Flight International.
