AEROSPACE APPOINTMENTS I ASSISTANT OPERATIONS CONTROLLER Heathrow Airport Shell Aircraft Limited who operate three BAe 125 s and a Gulf stream IV executive jet, require an Assistant Operations Controller to work with a small team in their offices at Heathrow Airport. Current experience in aircraft operations work and a good telephone manner are essential requirements for this important position. Candidates should be familiar with computers and ICAO international standards, aeronautical navigation and communication, AFTN, NATS, NOTAMS, route planning, meteorology, diplomatic clearances and crew briefing and administration. Working hours will alternate with other members of the Operations Staff to cover weekday periods from 0700 to 1900 hours. There will also be some evening and weekend work from home or office. The appointment would be either on fixed term contract or a pensionable basis and this will be fully discussed at interview.
