AEROSPACE APPOINTMENTS AtR2CQ0 Due to continuing expansion, Air 2000 is seeking experienced, competent and highly motivated individuals to fill positions within its Engineering Department. ENGINEERING — MANCHESTER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEERS Working within a small team applicants should be dual licensed engineers with experience in the maintenance of modern high technology aircraft. Experience in Quality Assurance function will be a distinct advantage. TECHNICAL SERVICES ENGINEERS The successful applicants will be dual licensed engineers with experience in both the maintenance and development of modern aircraft, providing such services as defect investigation support, service bulletin assessment and systems and component reliability data. Applicants for these positions need to hold a valid CAA Maintenance Engineer's Licence in two or more of the following categories: Without Type Rating Category A' Aeroplanes 2 'C Jet Turbine Engines 'X' Combined (Instrument and Auto-Pilot) 'X' Electrical 'X' Radio/Radar PLANNING ENGINEER Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of aircraft maintenance planning and maintenance schedule control relating to modern aircraft. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of B757 or A320. STORES SUPERVISOR Must have extensive airline experience of supervising, overseeing and controlling an aircraft bonded store system with full knowledge of UK CAA requirements. Good interpersonal and communication skills required and a broad knowledge of computerised stock control systems advantageous. A previous experience of establishing a new store a distinct advantage. COMPONENT CONTROL SUPERVISOR Heading up a small team of Component Controllers, the successful applicant will have a wide airline experience in Component Control, including spares distribution, tracking and repair/warranty administration. Familiarity with computerised stock control systems is required and basic knowledge of B757 components an advantage. LINE STATION - BRISTOL LINE MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS Licensed engineers with experience on modern aircraft are required to support operations based at Bristol Airport. Previous approval on B757 and/or A320 an advantage but not a requirement.
