Bell technology gives the 412HP improved multimission capabilities For years, Bell's 412SP has served the armed forces of over 20 countries. And now the 412HP (High Performance) offers even greater power for a variety of missions. Transmission rating for takeoff is now 13% greater. This results in OGE hover capability of 11,900 lbs. at 5,200 ft. on a standard day, compared to 11,500 lbs. at sea level'with the previous transmission. The 412HP's twin Pratt & Whitney turbine engines are legendary for re liability. Just as reliable is the 412HP's advanced four-bladed composite main rotor system. It has unlimited life rotor blades and a hub with the highest time-between-overhauls in the industry. Single-pilot IFR qualified, the 412HP can carry a pilot and 14 fully equipped troops, six litter patients, six cubic me ters of internal cargo or 4,500 pounds externally. It can also be armed with a variety of weapons systems. So you don't have to change helicopters to change missions. Finally, the Bell 412HP offers nu merous safety features that make it the safest in its class. Performance. Reliability. Versatility. And safety above all. It's what you've come to expect from Bell, the world's most experienced helicopter manufac turer. And it's exactly what the new 412HP delivers. Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Box 482, Ft.
