ILA '92 ILA'92 Bwiin • Brondwiburg X All German roads lead to Berlin now, its seems. Not only is the Government relocating from Bonn to Berlin, but Germany's ILA (Internationalen Luft-und Raumfahrt- tausstellung) international aerospace exhi bition is returning to its spiritual home after an absence of 64 years. This year's ILA has been moved from Hanover site to Berlin's Brandenberg (Schonefeld) Airport, and takes place be tween 15 and 21 June. The first four days of the show are earmarked for aerospace professionals, and on 19-21 June it is also open to the public. The ILA unquestionably takes a consid erably higher profile than its Hanover A340 predecessor thus clutters further the al ready over-sub scribed European and world show circuit-. The Farnborough show takes place only, a little more than two months after Berlin. As a result, some notable US firms, such as Boeing and McDonnell Douglas (MDC), are not exhibiting at Berlin, preferring to focus on one major European show a year. There are those who would like to see Berlin, Paris and Farnborough rotate a major European aerospace trade show tri-ennially.
