A world-class cover-up There's more to our nacelles than meets the eye. We should know. Shorts have been designing and building jet engine nacelles with growing success for quite a few years. Applying our extensive airframe design skills to produce lighter, more efficient nacelle components. And Shorts have made important contributions in the critical areas of noise attenuation, systems, and the application of advanced materials. The results aren't always visible. Not from the outside of the A320's, the Boeing 747's, 757's 767's, and the BAe 146's where our nacelles can be found.
