Adria Airways (ADR/JP) had its licence to fly returned on 16 January, 1992, following its removal on 25 October, 1991 by the Federal Secretariat of Tranport and Communications, caused by the war in former Jugoslavia from June 1991. It is operating interna tional scheduled services to Frankfurt, London, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Skopje, Tirana, Vienna and Zurich, as well as charter services. With international recognition of the new Slovenian state, Adria resumed some of its former operations and will review these and its fleet structure. The carrier operated charter and scheduled services between Jugoslavia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Scheduled domestic services linked all major Jugoslav cities. Additional seasonal domestic services were also operated between major Jugoslav cities and the Adriatic coast. Aeroflot - Russian International Airlines (SU), the new title of the former Aeroflot - Soviet Airlines. It entered a new era in July 1992, when it took delivery of its first Airbus A310-300, painted in the new livery. Aeroflot is the international airline of the Russian Federation. The former Soviet airline has already split into independent operators of the independent repub lics of the CIS. In Russia there are about 30 independent state-owned airlines established on the basis of former Aeroflot's regional directorates. Operating international and domestic scheduled and charter passenger and cargo services, Aeroflot flies to over 120 international destinations. New routes set up in 1991 include Moscow to Barcelona, Basle, Miami, Venice, Nagoya, Montivideo, Khabarovsk-San Francisco and Irkusk-Niigat; Kiev to Milan, New York, Frankfurt and Irkutsk-Shenian. All-cargo routes were started on Luxembourg-Moscow-Seoul and between Moscow and Nagoya. A new non-stop Moscow-Hong Kong service was started on 15 August, 1992.
