HELICOPTERS Arrivals by road: Redhill Aerodrome is accessible from the A25 at Nutfield and the A23 at Salfords. If travelling from London Heathrow Airport, take the M25 motorway to junction 7. From London Gatwick airport, take the M23 to junc tion 9. During the period of the exhibi tion there will be special routes clearly signposted in the immediate vicinity of Helitech '95. There is ample free car- parking on the exhibition site. The offi cial taxi company for Helitech '95 is To London Junction 7/8 The McDonnell Douglas Explorer was certificated in 1994, and entered service the same year How to get there A RRTVALS BY air: Aircraft flying in to Helitech '95 will not incur landing or parking fees. Pilots must contact Redhill Aerodrome, tels +44 (1737) 823377, before 19 September and give at least 48h notice before departure, stating day of arrival and aircraft registration number. Upon arrival, pilots must book in at the pilots' reception. A full customs and immi gration service is available on the exhibition site daily. Non-radio aircraft will not be accepted. Pilots should remain clear of con trolled airspace unless positive clearance has been obtained from the relevant air traffic-control services. Helitech '95 show organiser, Spearhead Exhibitions, believes that, in Europe, many helicopter manufacturers are switching alle giance from the pre-eminent Paris and Farnborough air shows in favour of the Redhill, UK-based exhibition, which this year runs from 19-22 September. Arrivals by rail: Trains run twice hourly from London Victoria terminus to London Gatwick Airport where a complimentary shuttle bus is available to the show. OPENING TIMES The show will be open to trade/industry and press visitors between 19 and 22 September at the following times: • Tuesday, 19-Friday, 22 September: 09.30-17.30 • Public afternoon: Friday, 22 September: 12.00-17.00. Visitors under 16 will not be admitted except on the public afternoon and only if accompanied by an adult. COST Entry to Helitech '95 is free. Registration is available on site.
