PEOPLE Fred Hubbard • BELL Fred Hubbard, senior vice-pres ident commercial and military business, is to consolidate sales efforts at manufacturer Bell Helicopter Textron, of Fort Worth, Texas, including those to the US Government, under a streamlining of the company's marketing activities. Jim Rogers, formerly executive director of customer support, is promoted to vice-president for programme marketing. Jeff Pino, previously South American marketing direc tor, becomes executive director of European marketing. Senior vice- president Peter Parsinen takes control of customer and market ing support. Ed Keglovits be comes executive director of marketing support and Bruce Camp replaces Rogers as execu tive director of customer support. Loren Doughty, formerly chief instructor pilot, succeeds Camp as director of Bell's customer train ing academy. • AEI Aircraft Engineers International (AEI), of Ascot, UK, has elected Jari Matinen as its vice-president. Matinen, a licensed aircraft-main tenance engineer with Finnish national carrier Finnair, is elected for two years, succeeding A Shar- maof Air India. • LEARJET Jim Robinson has been named executive vice-president at Lear- jet, of Wichita, Kansas. He was formerly president of AlliedSignal Engines, of Phoenix, Arizona. • SIMUFLITE Walt Slazyk has become manager of SimuFlite's Lockheed C-130 Hercules flight-training centre, with responsibility for the Mar ietta, Georgia, site. He was previ ously manager of the former SimuFlitc Commercial Training ("enter in Totowa, New Jersey. • DASSAULT Ron Velivis has been named director of technical support at Dassault Falcon Jet, of Paramus, New Jersey. He replaces Ray Villano, who has retired. Terry Smith moves from staff vice-president of quality assurance and engineering, to vice- president of maintenance and engi neering. Stephanie Ackerman, formerly director of corporate communications, becomes staff vice-president for corporate com munications. • IN-FLIGHT PHONE George Sutton has been ap pointed executive vice-president in charge of company-wide oper ations and engineering at In- Flight Phone, of Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. He was formerly director of engineering for MCI Communications. • LORAL George Lombard has become president of Loral Information Display Systems of Atlanta, Georgia. He was vice-president for command, control, communi cations, computers and intelli gence at Loral Defense System, in Great Neck, New York.
