PEOPLE Gary Boekenkamp • AIRMOTIVE Gary Boekenkamp has been promoted to vice-president of aircraft maintenance and ter minal services at engine over- hauler Dallas Airmotive of Dallas, Texas. He was formerly general manager for the com pany's Love Field fixed-base operation. • SAAB Anders Annerfalk has been appointed director of corporate communications and public affairs. Annerfalk, a former Swedish air force officer, was formerly FFV public relations manager. • LITTON McDonnell Douglas has appointed Dr David Spong vice-president of the air-vehicle integrated product team for the C-17 military-trans port programme. He was formerly a Northrop programme manager and deputy chief engineer for the Northrop Grumman/McDonnell Douglas advanced tactical fighter programme. • BAE COLLEGE The British Aerospace Flying College has appointed Steve Green chief instructor. Bill Mac- leod is named chief flying instruc tor. Dr Sue Truman becomes director and general manager. Chris Long is named director of sales and marketing. He was formerly vice-president for customer support. • LEARJET Bob Sundin has been named Learjet/Canadair Challenger main tenance manager at Bombardier Aviation Services, of Tucson, Ari zona. Jim Flynn is appointed man ager of used-aircraft sales. He was formerly Learjet's manager of air craft acceptance, also of Tucson. Bob Butcher becomes sales direc tor, having been sales-support administrator. Nita Scrivner be comes manager of public relations. She was previously director of mar keting communications at fixed- base operator Executive Aircraft, of Wichita, Kansas. • KIWI Keith Mackey has been named vice-president of flight operations at Newark, New Jersey-based Kiwi International Airlines. Founder and president of Heliflight, the largest helicopter flight school in the Eastern USA, Mackey has also held senior positions with National Airlines and Pan American World Airways. • LOCKHEED David Osterhout has been appoint ed vice-president of Washington operations for Lockheed Martin, at Bethesda, Maryland. He succeeds Dan Peterson, who is to retire. • ICO Peter Cumrnings has been named chief commercial officer at ICO Global Communications, of Lon don, UK. He was most recendy managing director of Dun & Brad- street's Nielsen Solution System International. • GAMA Shelly Snyder has been named director of communications at the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). She was for merly with FedEx, of Memphis, Tennessee. • EVA AIR Pictured (left to right) are Eva Air president Richard Huang and chairman Shen Chih-Cheng with Fritz Bisschop, director of the Netherlands' Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on the occasion of Eva's launch of its Netherlands-Taiwan service.
