I Line Maintenance Manager In this challenging role, you will help to ensure the continued safe operation of the Virgin Atlantic fleet at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports to the highest technical standards. This will involve the management of all on-aircraft maintenance activities including Maintenance Control which is responsible for the licet whilst en route and at various outstations. Having successfully completed a recognised aeronautical engineering training programme, your diverse engineering background will include five years' experience of a senior role. Following recent expansion of the Airbus and Boeing Fleets there are immediate vacancies for Duty Engineering Controllers within the recently formed Maintenance Operational Control Centre. These positions are Manchester based and are subject to shift coverage to support the 24 hour operational requirements of the fleet. Candidates for this vacancy should meet the following selection criteria. • CAA A&C or Avionic Licence WTR - A320 Full Approval (V2500 and or CFM-56) • CAA A&C or Avionic Licence WTR - Boeing 757/767 Full Approval (RB211/CF6-80) Series. • Previous Maintenance Control experience and/or minimum 3 years supervisory grade Line Maintenance Management i.e. Shift Controller/Station Engineer • Personal skills to include, good man management, communication skills at Middle Management level, proactive troubleshooting technique plus sound knowledge of BITE, MEL, CDL, MM. requirements and operation. • UK Driving Licence • The company offers a Pension Plan and Airline Benefit Package.
