MONARCH AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING LIMITED, established in 1967, is a leading UK maintenance company specialising in maintenance and associated services on a wide range of modern transport aircraft for airlines worldwide. Investment in premises, technology and people has led to rapid expansion and we now require the following personnel. INVESTOR IN PEOPLE QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (Luton) We seek a highly committed aircraft maintenance professional to undertake and fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the above position. The post will report to the newly promoted Director of Quality & Safety Management and key responsibilities will be the development of the quality audit programme and maintaining the Company's Airworthiness Approvals which support a varied customer base. The successful applicant will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a good record of management experience coupled with a thorough knowledge of airworthiness requirements. As the manager of a team of Quality Assurance Surveyors and administration staff the applicant must have the ability to motivate and be an enthusiastic leader. This permanent position attracts a competitive remuneration package and a company car. QUALITY ASSURANCE SURVEYORS (Luton and Manchester) Quality Assurance Surveyors are responsible for ensuring that the Company complies with the terms of our JAR-145 maintenance approval. We require a person who possesses an inquisitive nature, and a logical approach to problem solving. The position requires excellent interpersonal skills, good self motivation and the initiative to accomplish audits, maintenance reviews, investigations and other duties. Applicants must be Licenced Engineers or Graduates of Aeronautical Engineering and must want a long term, interesting and varied career which will include various overseas assignments. TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR (Luton) Our Training Division is seeking to employ two mature persons to provide courses on A320 and A330 mechanical subjects and avionics systems. Applicants will ideally have undertaken a recognised aeronautical engineering apprenticeship and had at least two years A320/A330 experience. Previous teaching capabilities would be advantageous. LICENCED TECHNICIANS (Gatwick) Applications are invited from suitably qualified A&C and Avionic engineers who hold relevant company approvals on two or more of the following aircraft types: B757, B767, A300, A320, DC 10. TRADESMEN (Luton & Manchester) A&C and Avionic Tradesmen required for Base Maintenance at the above bases. Boeing and Airbus experience is preferred. (Applications will also be considered for Avionics Licenced Technicians at Manchester only). WORKSHOPS VACANCIES (Luton) Tradesmen required in all Workshops.
