FLIGHT AEROSPACE INDUSTRY AWARDS 1998 Your chance to enter the awards that recognise excellence in aerospace and aviation. Entries are now invited for the Flight International Aerospace Industry Awards 1998. These prestigious awards, now enter ing their fifth year, are designed to recognise achievements across the aerospace and aviation industry. As in previous years, entries are to be judged by an independent panel of aerospace experts and those entrants on the final shortlist will be invited to attend the presentation, which takes place at a gala banquet during the Asian Aerospace show in Singapore. This high-profile event, sponsored by some of the leading names in aviation, will take place at Singapore's famous Shangri-La Hotel on 26th February 1998. Entries are invited for the following categories: • AIRTRANSPORT • AVIONICS • BUSINESS & GENERAL AVIATION • CORPORATE STRATEGY • ENGINEERING, SYSTEMS & COMPONENTS • ENVIRONMENT • INFRASTRUCTURE • MAINTENANCE & MODIFICATION • MILITARY AVIATION • PROPULSION • SPACE • TRAINING & SAFETY • AEROSPACE PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR The awards are open to any company or organisation operating within the world aerospace and aviation industry. The list of previous winners includes the full range of: airlines, airports and general aviation operators; airframe, engine and systems suppliers; maintenance and engineering companies; space and civil aviation authorities; and academic institutions.
