THE INSIDE STORY The cabin of the revolutionary Gulfstream V. WHAT FORTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE GETS YOU. The Gulfstream cabin. The world's most remarkable environment for traveling 6,500 nm at .80 Mach at FL510. Created in perfect relation to the airframe's overall design and integral to the airplane's unique long range, high-altitude mission requirements, the cabin of the revolutionary Gulfstream V* provides uncompromising comfort and safety within an airplane whose performance chaiacteristics are already rewriting the record books. At just over fifty feet in length, and six feet two inches in height, the 1,669-cubic-ft. main cabin of the Gulfstream V is spacious and engineered to accommodate a practical and generous outfitting allowance. Its new 178-cubic-ft flight deck, anchored by the Honeywell SPZ 8500 avionics suite, is roomier and more pilot- friendly than ever before. Able to climb quickly - even at max gross weight - the Gulfstream V is designed to operate above the weather, turbulence and traffic. At FL510, only the Gulfstream V maintains a 6,000-ft. cabin altitude, making for a far more comfortable, productive operating environment for both passengers and crew. Only the Gurfstream V Environmental Control System circulates totally fresh, temperature- controlled air through the entire cabin every three minutes - eliminating many of the health risks associated with stale, recirculated air. The oversized Gulfstream signature windows dramatically improve visibility and allow higher levels of natural light - instrumental in fighting jet lag. And at cruising speed, the Gulfstream V cabin is as quiet as the interior of a luxury sedan - allowing important conversations and quality thinking to be uninterrupted. After forty years at Gulfstream, we believe it is impossible to separate the cabin from the airplane. We maintain the true value of any cabin can be measured only in relation to the capabilities of the airplane in which it is placed.
