virgin atlantic We're going nowhere without you. Technicians - Avionics/AfiC Heathrow and Gatwick With a rapidly expanding fleet of aircraft that currently totals 25, we're not stopping there. In addition to Boeing 747s, Airbus A340s and A320s, we'll be taking delivery of several new Airbus A340/600 series. As part of our line maintenance team, you'll undertake scheduled maintenance and repairs to standards laid down by both Virgin Atlantic and the CAA. This will involve work ing to manufacturers' documented maintenance guidelines, under the supervision of a certifying engineer. All you'll need is a good grounding, so any of the following would qualify you: a recognised Apprenticeship; an Aeronautical Engineering Certificate or its equivalent, plus City Et Guilds 258/259 or a BTEC or ONC in an aviation sub ject. We'll also be looking for up to 12 months' line mainte nance experience and you should be flexible enough to work shifts. This is a hardworking and often pressurised unit, yet if you're a team-player and enthusiastic, you'll find yourself in an enjoyable working environment which is hard to match. In return, you can look forward to a discretionary benefits package which, after a qualifying period, includes pension and private medical schemes, plus arguably the best conces sionary travel scheme in the industry. Please phone our 24 hour recruitment hotline on 01483 461090 for an application form, which should be completed and returned by Friday 4th June 1999.
