Designed to satisfy the tactical image generator require ments of defence customers, MAXVUE™ Medallion delivers the level of performance needed to support very high visual scene complexity. Coupled with CAE's extensive capability in advanced display systems, from collimated mirror systems, to domes, to helmet mounted and other Area of Interest (AOI) systems and incorpo rating comprehensive database creation tools, MAXVUE™ Medallion offers the training community greater performance and flexibility than ever before possible. Based upon a Sogitec proprietary Z buffer architecture from APOCEE-3 technology, MAXVUE™ Medallion offers ease of database production and support for large Actual MAXVUE™ Medallion Real-Time Image numbers of tactical combatants, to create the complex and high resolution scenes necessary for advanced mission training. Single and multiple channel configurations are available, in configurations up to 20,000 polygons per channel and resolutions up to 3.0 million pixels per channel. Both interlaced and non-interlaced display formats are supported by the system. Armed forces are being challenged as never before on their ability to maintain readiness.
