Qualifications • University degree: technical degree preferred. • 5 - 10 years experience gained within the aviation industry. • Marked interpersonal, presentation and key account management skills. • Second European language desirable Regional Maintenance Coordinator UK based - Luton Responsibilities • Supervision and control of maintenance for all Flexjet aircraft and Flexjet stock of spare parts. • Will be responsible for structuring the setup of Flexjet's maintenance activities in Luton. • Responsible for all staff related issues eg. work schedules of engineers and training plans. • Control, logging and responsibility for spare part stock, and other items purchased by Flexjet. Qualifications • Must hold a valid ICAO type II license. • Previous experience with Bombardier Business Aircraft is essential. • Work experience on Lear 31A, 60 and Challenger desirable. • Previous supervisory experience required. OPPORTUNITIES IN CALIFORNIA ENGINEERS LICENCED AND UNLICENSED Sierra Academy of aeronautics (SAA) is a 35-year-old aviation company. Currently SAA has the following opportunities.: LICENCED ENGINEERS SAA is seeking applications from licensed engineers or graduates with an Aeronautical Degree and a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience. NDT, T56, 501 or A250-powerplant knowledge would be an advantage. UNLICENSED ENGINEERS The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience performing scheduled, and flight line maintenance, as well as non-scheduled inspections of light aircraft. TECHNICAL INSTRUCTORS Successful candidates must demonstrate proven skill in a classroom environment with groups of up to 30 students. Such instructors will lecture in their respective field of expertise in Airframe, Powerplant, or General subjects. ATC INSTRUCTORS BAILBROOK AVIATION TRAINING COLLEGE Bailbrook College requires additional Air Traffic Control instructors due to the expansion of our CAA approved UK ATC and International ICAO training courses. Applications are invited for the following posts. UK Instructors: Applicants must possess a current CAA ATC Licence with Aerodrome, Approach and Approach Radar ratings and have had at least five years' operational experience in the UK environment. This should include a minimum of two years as a validated Radar controller, preferably at an airfield in Class A or D airspace. Previous instructional or OJTI experience would be an advantage. As it is anticipated that opportunities for short term voluntary detachments may occur from time to time, previous ATC experience in other ICAO contracting states would be a useful addition to the basic qualifications listed above.
