History Tourjets Airline Corporation was incorporated in April 2000 as the successor to Dove One Inc, an air-taxi service founded in 1990. Tourjets founders purchased Dove One in November 1999 to assist them in marketing flexible airline services for vacation travellers. In February 2000, Dove One wet-leased a Boeing 737-200 on a short-term basis. On July 17, 2000 Tourjets (formerly also known as Swissjets) filed its first public offering to acquire its own aircraft and in December 2000 signed a memorandum of under standing for the purchase of six MD-82 aircraft.
