www.flightintemational.com DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - AVIONICS (Ref:DE/AV/17/01) To evaluate and embody authorization of all manufacturers SB's, SL's, Advice Notes, Leaflets, Amendments to Maintenance and Overhaul Manuals and other Technical documents. To assist in trouble shooting and to ensure that all FAA/CAA AD's are evaluated and executed within the compliance time limits. To handle problems and related issues for both the Avionics and Electrical systems in accordance with ATA Chapters and latest applicable chapters. DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - SYSTEMS m DE/SYS/WOI) To evaluate all AD's, Manufacturers SB's, SIL etc., monitor and assist in trouble shooting of system defects and repeated defects, prepare modifications to improve performance, reliability and reduce maintenance costs, assist in projects, major modifications, buying equipment and aircraft. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Candidates preferably be below 40 years of age, with a degree in aeronautical / aerospace / mechanical engineering (for systems) and a degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering (for avionics) together with A320, A330, A340 and A300-600R system course (as applicable) and a minimum of five years experience in the related discipline with airline / airframe manufacturing environment, ICAO type II license will be an added advantage.
