FlightSafety Boeing Training International is an independent "We like knowing our training is really our training." After morn than 25 years with an alI-DC9-50 Beet serving its inter-island network, Hawaiian Airlines' shift to Boeing 717s posed quite a challenge. For Captain Peter Miller, the pressure was on to move about 140 pilots to new all-glass cockpits in about 10 months without diminishing service. "This required short training durations of high efficiency," Miller says. And with its 18-minute average stage length, Hawaiian also required a route-specific, need-to-know approach to training. "The program's success is largely due to FlightSafetyBoeing's high levels of customization," he says, "including their production of a tailor-made, computer-based pre-study course for our pilots to view in advance of their formal training. They've delivered all they've; promised...and more." Contact: Daniel MacLellan, Seattle, 206-662-8707 • Dawn Chane, London, +44-1582-692338 FlightSafetyBoeing www.fsbti.com
