peratmg a mixe worldwide, we train with the mpany that knows all the rules: CAPTAIN MIGUEL ANGEL RINbN MARTf, Director of Operations, Gestair Miguel Ririon graduated from the Spanish Air Force Academy in 1970 at the top of his class. He then served 23 years in the Spanish Air Force, initially as a pilot on transport aircraft such as the C-130. and later with the squadron responsible for transporting high-ranking government officials. There he flew a variety of aircraft, including the DC-8, the Boeing 707, and multiple Falcon models. In 1989, he joined Gestair - the aviation management and charter company based in Madrid - and now flies about 450 hours annually while supervising operations at the company's six locations in Spain. He maintains JAA and FAA certification on the Gulfstream IV and V, training twice annually at FlightSafety's Savannah Center. MIGUEL ANGEL KINON, DIRECTOR OF Operations for Spain's Gestair, says that providing 60 pilots with JAA-compliant training across a mixed fleet is a challenge he'd rather not face alone. "Without FlightSafety, it would be impossible," says Rifion. "Our fleet has 20 aircraft representing nine aircraft types, and at any moment a client may require a crew and technicians qualified for a different model. So we need to be well-trained on our current aircraft and have a training partner who can prepare us quickly for a new addition." FlightSafety satisfies the training needs of Spain's largest business aviation company by delivering type- specific pilot and technician training programs taught by JAA-certified instructors, programs tailored to meet both European regulatory requirements and Gestair's own policies and standards. FlightSafety's depth of experience with virtually every business aircraft type means Gestair - and, similarly, its sister company, Madrid-based Audeli - can add to its fleet with confidence, knowing its personnel will have access to the professional training they need, when they need it. "We've been training with FlightSafety for 25 years," says Rinon. "From an operations standpoint, I sleep better at night knowing I have FlightSafety to rely on." vvvvw.flightsafety.corn FtightSafety international The Leading Provider of .JAA- and FAA-Approved Training.
