Bond returns to North Sea Bond will be returning to the North Sea market in summer 2004 with a brand new fleet of six AS332L2 Super Puma helicopters.This initial fleet will be used to support a 10 year contract, commencing I August 2004, recently awarded by BP to Bond Offshore Helicopters Limited to service BP's various offshore activities from Aberdeen. Later this year, and into early 2004, Bond Offshore will be seeking applications from suitably experienced and qualified Pilots, Engineers and Ground Support staff for a range of management/supervisory, training and line positions. Additionally, Bond has decided to use the benefit created by BP's long term commitment and lead time to offer a number of Ab Initio CPL(H) + l/R courses and Aeronautical Engineering courses. Details of all these employment opportunities will be advertised in due course, commencing shortly with further details of the Pilot and Engineer training schemes. Bond Offshore Helicopters Limited is majority owned by brothers Peter and Stephen Bond and, as such, is a sister company of Bond Air Services Limited, the UK's leading onshore twin-engined helicopter operator. Initially, Bond Offshore will be based at the Bond Air Services headquarters at Staverton Airport, Gloucestershire, but will be relocating to its own facility at Dyce Airport, Aberdeen, in the latter part of 2003.
