We are therefore looking to recruit the following positions, all of which will be based at London Luton Airport. modification planning team leader (ref 18/03) As part of the management team you will manage the team co-ordinating the effective planning of additional maintenance and modification programmes for customer airlines. This includes the co-ordination of airworthiness directives and service bulletin implementation. You will be expected to provide leadership, supervision, technical direction and guidance in planning and implementing the team's operational responsibilities. Where process or system changes are required you will need to make meaningful contribution to the design & implementation of changes. An aircraft engineers licence or educational equivalent is required, plus a minimum of three years experience at supervisory level supported by management qualifications. Ideally candidates should provide evidence of team building and experience of implementing changes along with the ability to apply logical thinking to produce 'out of the box' solutions. modification planning co-ordinators (ref 17/03) This new and challenging position involves the effective planning and co-ordination of all forms of additional maintenance and modification programmes for Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited management services customers. The role will include developing implementation plans, multi-level liaison and co-ordination for special requirements to ensure accomplishment of tasks such as airworthiness directives. The job will require active liaison with internal departments, external vendors and operator customers to ensure effective management of programmes. commercial planner (ref 20/03) The commercial planning section is responsible for the co-ordination of aircraft maintenance check slots. This involves negotiation with our customers to assist them in achieving their maintenance programmes. In addition the section acts as the planning interface with marketing & sales to present planning data for contract acquisition and renewal, as well as co-ordinating changes to maintenance task documentation produced by technical services planning. You must be able to provide evidence of computer based data interpretation skills, a working knowledge of aircraft maintenance and planning functions within a maintenance organisation environment. maintenance planning engineer (^21/03) Each planner is allocated a number of customer aircraft, for which you are responsible for the effective planning of aircraft maintenance inputs and the generation of the check documentation for its accomplishment. You will have an active role in the co-ordination of maintenance requirements and work in liaison with other sections to ensure an achievable maintenance checks on time, on budget and to the right quality. You will need to demonstrate knowledge of aircraft maintenance process, the planning support function and the method by which scheduled maintenance requirements are generated supported by good technical qualifications. To be considered for the above positions you should have served a recognised apprenticeship or educational equivalent (minimum HNC/OND) supported by a minimum of five years practical experience within aircraft maintenance or a technical services environment. You must be able to provide evidence of project management and have excellent communication skills and computer software versatility.
