Your international Experience. EUROCONTROL is the European Organisation dedicated to air traffic management (ATM). The Agency is comprised of the Organisation's Headquarters located in Brussels and other sites in Maastricht (the Netherlands), Bretigny-sur- i Orge (France), Luxembourg, j Prague (Czech Republic) I and Budapest (Hungary). I For the CEATS Strategy Planning and Development Unit (CSPDU) in Prague (Czech Republic) a (m/f) Expert - CEATS HR/ATS Training (Ref. CP-2003-AA/028/FL) Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for: • managing the CEATS HR/Training Sub-project with related HR and financial planning, and liaising with othet Projects/ Sub-projects • designing and implementing the ATC Training programmes, plans and manuals for the CUAC • planning and monitoring the Training courses to be organized at the CEATS Training Centre and in the CUAC • coordinating and closely cooperating with internal and external stakeholders on training mattets in the CEATS HMI and Simulation activities • liaising with the EUROCONTROL Institute of Air Navigation Services (LANS) • preparing and coordinating the training activities for the CEATS Directorate Staff • developing the required documentation and providing reports for the CEATS management and the decision-making bodies • establishing and maintaining relevant libraries and databases for the required analysis, reports, statistics, etc. • keeping abreast of the new ATS Training techniques, tools and methods within the EATMP, and observing these developments and practices within the CEATS Area. Desired profile: • university degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional education and experience in Air Traffic Control/Air Traffic Management • a good proven oral and written command of English. A working knowledge of one of the languages of the CEATS States would be considered an additional asset • special awareness of multicultural influences • ATC Instructor with min. 5 years of experience in operational ATS Training and planning in an Area Control Centre • in-depth knowledge of advanced ATS Training and professional experience in planning and management of the HR and Financial resources in an ATM environ ment. Knowledge of pedagogic concepts • knowledge of the EATMP training developments, as well as thorough understanding of ATM organisation in Europe and in CEATS is desirable, including related ATM/ HR and Training regulations, procedures and practices • comprehensive knowledge of Project Management practices and proven skills in relevant PC applications • excellent drafting and communication capabilities including enhanced interpersonal skills.
