EADS CASA FITS (Fully Integrated Tactical System) enables to know in real time anything happening at a conflict scene, and that translates into faster and more efficient decision-making. This sophisticated technology has been developed by EADS CASA by drawing on its extensive experience in the development and production of maritime patrol systems. EADS CASA FITS is structured around a basic core that consists of individual Universal/Reconfigurable Operator Workstations interfaced with the Tactical Processors through a Local Area Network (LAN). FITS, which is already in operation and demonstrating its capabilities in-flight on the EADS CASA C-295. It has been acquired by the Spanish Air Force for the P-3 Orion and by the Mexican Navy for the upgrade of its C-212 fleet.The United Arab Emirates Navy has selected the FITS together with the C-295 platform. It is also highly resistant to failure, with outstanding growth potential that, most importantly, can be fitted onto any platform. For this reason, it is very fitting that we have called it FITS.
