EMERALD Emerald Engineering is a JAR 145 Maintenance facility based at Blackpool Airport supporting a 25 strong fleet of Shorts 330/360 and BAe 748 freighter aircraft throughout Europe across a varied programme of Contracts. With the imminent arrival of the BAe ATP aircraft, we are looking to recruit for the following roles: TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER - This is a senior management role at our Blackpool Base Maintenance facility role and preference will be given to those with BAe ATP experience to drive the introduction of this new type. Responsible to the Director of Engineering for the effective and efficient Tech Services support to the Emerald Airways fleet of aircraft. You will have practical experience of the role in a demanding airline environment together with a proven track record in aircraft maintenance. With sound technical and managerial experience you will have practical knowledge, ideally licensed. TECHNICAL SERVICES ENGINEER - We are looking for an engine specialist with practical experience of the Dart PT6 and PW 126 power plants to be based at Blackpool. You will have both a practical, licensed engineer and Tech Services background. You will be responsible for the provision of Tech Services support along with specialist field advice to engineers at our Line and Base maintenance facilities. PLANNING ENGINEER - To assist with the introduction of the BAe ATP aircraft, we require an experienced Planning Engineer to be based at Blackpool. You will be responsible for all planning activities in support of the aircraft including Base Maintenance input planning, production of work packs and data base (OASES) management. QUALITY ENGINEER - Responsible to the Quality Manager we are looking for an experienced airline maintenance organisation Quality Engineer. You will have a practical, licensed engineer, background with ideally experience of the aircraft operated by Emerald Airways. The position is based at Blackpool but will involve frequent travel to the outstations from which Emerald Airways operates. TECH RECORDS CLERKS - We are looking for experienced aircraft tech records clerks for both our Benfleet and Blackpool offices. LICENSED ENGINEERS - Licensed engineers with experience of BAe 748, ATP and Shorts 330/360 are required at both our Liverpool Line Station and Blackpool Base Maintenance facility. Preference will be given to those with the necessary type ratings and we are particularly interested in those engineers with ATP approvals. For suitable candidates without such endorsements, type training is available.
