Safety Assessment Specialists Drawing on your extensive air traffic service (ATS) or safety assessment experience, you'll be the specialist safety regulator on major and diverse projects across the industry - managing the approval of planned ATS systems through auditing and assessment of safety cases, from initial project definition right through to completion. You'll also be part of a multidisciplinary team maintaining safety regulatory oversight of the UK Civil ATS. Preferably with a background in engineering or air traffic control, you'll bring an understanding of safety tools and techniques, and ideally experience of auditing safety management systems. ATC Policy Expert & Strategy Specialist Acting as a focal point for technical and operational expertise, you'll develop and maintain safety regulatory policy for air traffic services operations throughout the UK. You will also assist in influencing safety regulatory matters at European and international level, representing the CAA in a variety of industry forums and may deputise for the Head of Section as required. You will hold or have held a civil or military ATC licence with broad operational experience, you'll bring expert knowledge of safety management systems, hazard analysis methodologies, project managements and air traffic services operations - and a thorough knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation.
