Due to our continued success and growth we are now looking for the following key staff based in BRATISLAVA / Slovakia to join our international team: Flight Operations Manager - (JAR 1.17 5] Post Holder Reporting to Chief Operating Officer • responsible for all aspects of SkyEurope Flight Operations as the JAR OPS Post Holder; • ensuring safe, efficient and cost effective operations; • responsible for the recruitment, training and management of more than 250 SkyEurope Pilots and Cabin Crew; • planning and implementing processes and strategies leading to continuous improvements in line operations, risk management and procedures. Requirements: • highly motivated and results-oriented person with exceptional leadership and communication skills; • considerable experience in all areas of European flight operations; • preference will be given to applicants holding a current JAR-FCL ATPL with a B737 Classic type rating. Standards and Procedures Manager - Airport Services Reporting to Ground Operations Manager • responsible for maintaining effective safety management systems; • ensuring that all airport staff are qualified and competent in their respective duties; • cost management, cost saving and income generation without compromising service and standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements: • experience in airport operations and management; • able to demonstrate an up to date technical awareness of regulations, legislation and compliance standards governing ground handling; • ability to lead and motivate others using excellent communication skills; • ability to design training and staff development strategies. Network Planning Manager Reporting to Chief Operating / Commercial Officer Responsible for the management and control of the SkyEurope flying programme ensuring that it combines the commercial and operational requirements of our exceptional growth. Requirements: • exceptional communication skills with a proven track record in coordinating multiple teams and goals to achieve optimum results; • experience in Airport Slot Coordination and traffic rights will be a significant advantage; • good understanding of the low cost airline environment as well as knowledge of aircraft performance. Highlands and Islands Airports Limited is responsible for the management and operation of ten airports across the North of Scotland and the Islands, providing vital social, business and welfare links. We now have an excellent opportunity for Manager of Infrastructure Services to join the Senior Management Team based at our Head Office in Inverness. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the post holder will form an essential part of the senior management team, providing effective managerial control for the complete range of activities undertaken by the Infrastructure Services Department. This includes project management, co-ordination and supervision for all airports' general repairs and maintenance contracts, minor new works and major development projects. We are seeking a professionally qualified and experienced senior manager who holds a degree or professional qualification and has at least ten years post qualification experience of handling major works projects. Membership of an appropriate professional body (eg RICS, ICE) would also be an advantage. You should have a proven track record of achieving completion of projects to tight budgets and deadlines. Experience of working as part of the senior management team in a company the size of HIAL is important, as is the ability to manage and motivate a team of direct reports. Significant experience of working in an airport environment would be a distinct advantage.
