We invite applications for the following positions: TECHNICAL STORES MANAGER (Ref: TSM/188/04) To manage the Technical Stores to support Qatar Airways, the Amiri Fleet, other departments and contracted operators in compliance with Qatar Airways, Finance, Audit, Civil Aviation Authorities and other government agencies rules & regulations. Candidate must be a graduate in a Science or equivalent with 10-15 years work experience in an airline's Stores environment with a minimum of 5 years experience in a management position. Candidates must be proficient with aviation/aeronautical parts & supplies, the regulatory requirements of aviation authorities and computerized airline inventory management system. Candidates will have excellent knowledge of international export and import processing and Quality Assurance Stores Inspection procedures. A good communication skill in English is a must. TECHNICAL MATERIALS SUPERVISOR (Ref: TMS/189/04) To supervise day-to-day work in compliance with the Technical Handling and Procedure Manual. Recommend improvements on procedures to ensure efficient work performance. Candidates must preferably be graduates in a Science from recognized university in Aviation with 8-12 years experience in an airline's Technical and Materials Department of which 3 years should be in Materials Management or LAE with a minimum of 5 years experience in Materials & Logistics. Candidates must be familiar with Aircraft types/systems, mainly Airbus, Engines and APU's, should posses excellent knowledge of Materials Inventory Control, First Aid and Safety Regulations. Candidates must have excellent knowledge in warranty and product support agreement, good business communication, decision making, time management and organizational skills, contracts evaluations, negotiations and implementation skills. TECHNICAL MATERIALS POOLING ENGINEER (Ref: WIPE/190/04) To implement the most economical methods to ensure material availability at Qatar Airways line stations through pooling, stocking, Flight Spares Kits and loans to avoid technical delays due to non-availability of parts. Candidates must preferably be graduates in a Science from a recognized university in Aviation or LAE A&C with 10 years experience in an airline's Materials Department managing pooling, loans and line stations. Candidates must have attended IATP conferences at least four times, with formal training in Materials Management, Airbus Technical Documentation, JAR-145 Approved Maintenance Organization (familiarization) and IATP Contract Introduction Certificate Course IATA SGHA/IATP. Candidates must posses good technical knowledge in aircraft systems, good business communication and decision making skills.
