GULF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE COMPANY GAMCO is commited to maintaining its international position as a leading MRO, and due to its continued expansion by securing new long term contracts is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified personnel for the following vacancies based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS (Ref: recruit/04/04) A&C Engineers and Avionics Engineers (E,I,R) holding related ICAO Type II license with Base and / or Line maintenance experience and current approvals on at least two of the following aircraft types : A300-600, A310, A319/320/321, A330, A340, B757, B767, B777 MAINTENANCE CONTROLLERS AND DEFECT REVIEW ENGINEERS (Ref: recruit/05/04) Applicants must have minimum of 10 years' experience with an Airline or MRO in a similar position. Effective communication skills, troubleshooting skills, good knowledge of Aircraft Manuals and must hold AME license (A&C, AVNS) with experience on A320/A321, A330, A340. Job scope includes co-ordinating all airline activities including movements of spares and manpower if necessary to Line Stations. Communicate with Line to ensure defects are cleared. Take technical decisions on aircraft dispatch from Line when necessary to minimize delays. Communicate with AMS to align A/C for defects rectifications. Arrange resources at main hub to clear defects on A/C. Liaise with other departments and manufacturers if necessary to ensure A/C have minimum number of defects.
