Componio. Nationola de Tratisporluri Aeriene Romane TAROM S.A. (TAROM) with its head office in Otopeni, Soseaua Bucuresti-Ploiesti km 16,5, llfov County, Romania, intends to associate with a strategic partner interested in co-operation in the area of aircraft maintenance and repair. TAROM is planning to expand its activity by establishing a high quality maintenance and repair facility for commercial aircraft at Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport. TAROM holds JAR145 AACR 001 certificate end has full copobility for B737 and ATR 42/72 base maintenance, as well as A310 (up to C check) and A320 line maintenance. TAROM also holds FAA TRUY368X approved repair station certificate for B737 base maintenance. Maintenance is performed in a 4 B737 bay 16,000 sq. m.) hangar, located within the area of Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport. Based on the authorisations held and the contracts in force, TAROM performs maintenance works for airlines within EU and Middle East countries. Interested Maintenance Repair Organisations and airlines, are invited la submit letters at intent enclosing the following information: • expressions of interest to participate by associating with TAROM in establishing an aircraft maintenance and repair facility • company presentation I identification details, full legal name and brand name, year of incorporation, juridical form/type of incorporation, head office/principal place of business and country of residence/ origin/incorporation, fiscal code, share capital, phone, facsimile, e-mail, object of activity and experience in the field) • elements pertaining to the experience in aircraft maintenance and repair activity, including third party and to the financial, commercial and managerial potential for the last two closed financial years and for the current year: annual turnover (in EUR ond USD), gross/net profit (in EUR and USD), net profit rate (%), liquidity ratio, solvency ratio. • intention to perform own or customer aircraft maintenance at the newly created base, at least equal to TAROM's volume of maintenance and repair works, with the current personnel employed within TAROM's Technical Division The letters of intent, written in Romanian or English language, shall be sent by the latest January 31, 2005 (postal office date) to the head office of TAROM: Soseaua Bucuresti-Ploiesti km 16.5, Henri Coanda Otopeni Airport, Romania, for the attention of Mr Sever Bucur- Vice President Maintenance and Engineering. Depending on the letters of intent received, TAROM will select the interested parties requesting each of them to draw up a business plan in connection with the subsequent development of activity.
