What do I need to do before attending the event?

Before attending you should:

  • Complete a lateral flow/ Antigen test 24 hours prior to attending. You can only attend the awards if this test produces a negative result.
  • Complete our COVID-19 attendee agreement form – please note you must complete this before attending. You will not be allowed into the venue without it. The form can be completed at this link.
  • Pack your mask so that you have one, should you need it during the event

What should I do if I have COVID-19 symptoms or self-isolating at the time of the event?

Please do not attend the Airline Strategy Awards 2021 if you have COVID-19 symptoms or self-isolating at the time of the event.

You may replace yourself with another staff member from your organisation free of charge. Please note before the event they will still need to:

What should I do if I have tested positive for COVID-19?

Please do not attend the Airline Strategy Awards 2021 if you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days or are currently showing symptoms.

You may replace yourself with another staff member from your organisation free of charge. Please note before the event they will still need to:

What will happen when I arrive?

On arrival you will have:

  • Your temperature checked by one of our staff
  • Your ticket checked and checked in by The HAC security team
  • A member of staff checking that you have completed our COVID-19 attendee agreement form

Sanitiser will be available on arrival before entering the drinks reception.

What time can I arrive?

Please consult your e-ticket for your arrival time. If you have not received your e-ticket please contact airlinestrategyawards@flightglobal.com

What cleaning will take place before and during the event?

The venue maintains a high level of enhanced hygiene protocols in all areas. Deep cleaning and sanitisation of public areas occurs on a daily basis.

Increased cleaning protocols are in place during the set-up, rehearsals and the event itself of all high touch points including stair and balcony handrails, door handles and bathrooms.

How many attendees will there be?

Attendee numbers have been capped this year to allow for social distancing between tables within the room and allow attendees adequate social distancing when seated.

Why do you need everyone’s contact details?

We require all attendee contact details this year so we can quickly disseminate information to all that attended the event if it is required to do so.

Please note these contact details will not be used for marketing.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Masks for attendees are not mandatory for this event but we would strongly encourage you to wear one when interacting face to face with staff upon check in or when moving through crowded spaces at the venue.

Will there be a drinks reception?

Yes, the Airline Strategy Awards will be hosting a drinks reception taking place at 5.30pm on Monday 27 September.

Will the cloakroom be open?

Cloakrooms will be open however guests should avoid bringing overnight bags to the venue to help minimise queues and crowding.
