John Maloney, Fleet Data Research & OEM Relations Manager (Moderator)

John joined Ascend in 2008 to begin their helicopter data fleet coverage. He now manages the Fleet Research Data team. As part of his role John is also FlightGlobal’s OEM Research Relations Manager helping to manage and build upon our data relationships with aerospace OEMs. John is based out of our London Heathrow office but is often travelling and attends many of the major trade shows every year.



Pete Webber, Helicopter Data Analyst

Pete is responsible for maintaining the data on the in production helicopter types (excluding Robinson Helicopter), including capturing new order data and trying to maintain the backlog of orders against production rates. He joined Ascend in 2007 after 25 years in the RAF serving worldwide specialising in the ground handling of the air transport fleet. He took a leading part in the integration of the Helicas data in the Ascend database, forming the current FG helicopter data offering.



Ben Chapman, Valuations managers

Ben manages the UK team of valuation analysts at Flight Ascend Consultancy and is an International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT) Certified Appraiser. His role while overseeing the UK valuations team is as a senior analyst covering helicopters, securitised valuations, commercial aircraft and commercial engines. He regularly supports FlightGlobal’s clients as well as the commercial and product teams on valuation methodology, market insights and new methods of data analytics.



Valerie Bershova, Valuations Analyst

Valerie is primarily involved with commercial aircraft valuations and market commentaries, whilst working towards a specialism in helicopter valuations. She joined the Flight Ascend Consultancy team in March 2017, after spending two years in flight planning for commercial and private operators at Stansted airport. Valerie completed the BSc Aviation Technology & Management course at the University of Leeds and was an ISTAT Scholarship recipient in 2014.
