      More than 2,000 aircraft were ordered during 2016, data from Flight Fleets Analyzer shows. Just over 440 cancellations also occurred while nearly 230 aircraft were swapped to a different variant. As a result, net orders amounted to almost 1,600 aircraft in 2016 down 30% on the previous year.
