Air Baltic to restore Dublin service

Latvian carrier Air Baltic is to restore services to the Irish capital, Dublin, after an absence of several years.

The airline says it will re-open the link from Riga at the end of March next year.

Air Baltic will use Airbus A220s on the connection, which will be served four-times weekly.

It says the route has demonstrated “strong demand” for several years.

FlightGlobal’s routes database shows that Ryanair also operates between the two cities, using Boeing 737s.
