ANNOUNCEMENT: Flightglobal links up for Rotorcraft Asia show

Flightglobal has signed up as exclusive Knowledge Partner for the inaugural edition of Rotorcraft Asia, the helicopter trade show being launched by Singapore air show organiser Experia Events.

Taking place on 18-20 April 2017 at the Changi Exhibition Centre, the biennial Rotorcraft Asia show will provide the ideal platform for the world’s civil helicopter manufacturers, operators and investors to identify business opportunities in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific market. The event will focus on the oil and gas, corporate, medevac and law enforcement sectors.

Flightglobal is the leading provider of data, analytics and advisory services to the global helicopter industry. Its researchers maintain full production details for over 111,000 rotorcraft, and the market’s key players depend on the experts with Flightglobal's consultancy arm Ascend for advisory, appraisal and ratings services and their annual 10-year market forecast.

“Asia Pacific is the fastest-growing region in the world and the market outlook suggests that the region's rotorcraft industry will follow the same flight path,” says Experia. “In fact, its helicopter fleet is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 21.6%, faster than any other region worldwide.

“Rotorcraft Asia is designed to tap this increasing wealth of opportunities in the thriving Asia Pacific and address growing demand from its four largest sectors,” it adds.

Andrew Doyle, Flightglobal head of aerospace, says: “As the world’s most respected and authoritative provider of helicopter market insight and risk analysis, fleet data, valuations and news, Flightglobal is delighted to further strengthen its relationship with Experia Events by becoming the exclusive Knowledge Partner for Rotorcraft Asia 2017.

“Our experts are excited to be leading the debate around the opportunities and challenges facing key participants in the global helicopter industry as they seek to exploit the growth opportunities emerging in Asia-Pacific.”
