12 FLIGHT International, II lanuary 1973 ADVISER (ENGINEER) Non-Directional Radio Beacons Project Indonesia £4,000 - 4,960 Required to give detailed advice and assist with the implementation of a non- directional radio beacon rehabilitation programme which includes installation planning, installation and commissioning long range, medium range and short range ND beacons throughout Indonesia. To give detailed advice and assist with the siting and site preparation, installation planning, installation and acceptance and com missioning flight checks for ILS and VOR installations at difficult locations. To give detailed advice on other matters concerning navigational aids and communications. Travel for short periods to any of the locations in Indonesia with Indonesian staff from the main base at Djakarta. Applicants should be Senior Engineers with at least ten years' experience in the planning, installation and commissioning of Ground Navigational Aids particularly VOR-ILS siting and site preparation. Preferably with on-board flight testing and commissioning experience. Emoluments quoted above include a variable tax-free overseas allowance of £500-960 pa. Terms of service include free family passages, paid leave, education grants and free accommodation. Appointment will be with the Overseas Development Administra tion for 2 years.
