STAB (Societe de Transports Aeriens du Burundi) operates scheduled DC-3 services from Bujumbura, the capital of the Kingdom of Burundi in central Africa, to Bukavu and Goma (Zaire), and to Kigali in neighbouring Bwanda, where the service connects with Air France flights to Addis Ababa and Paris/Orly. STAR (Societe de Transport Aerien du Rwanda) maintains regular scheduled services from Kigali Airport to Gisenyi, Butare and Kamembe in co-operation with Sabena and Air France. Regular scheduled passenger and cargo flights are operated with DC-3s and Cansos in the Ungava Bay region. The company also serves Schef-ferville, Roberva) and Quebec City in the south. Stradbroke Gardens Air Charter Pty Ltd flies a scheduled passenger service from Archerfield Airport, Brisbane, to Stradbroke Island, lying off the Queens land coast, and inland to Gayndah, Theodore and Moura. Head Office: Archerfield Airport Bris-ban, Queensland, Australia. Fleet: One Piper Cherokee St Thomas Tax-Air operates scheduled commuter services from San Juan (Puerto Rico) to Charlotte Amalie. Suburban Airlines Inc is the scheduled commuter division of Reading Aviation Services Inc, which was formed in 1968 from the merger of Reading Airlines with Suburban Airlines (known until 1967 as the Air Taxi Company). Regular services are currently operated between Reading, Lancaster (Pennsylvania) and Washington DC; New York/Newark, Allentown (Pennsylvania), Binghamton and Buffalo (New York); and between Reading, Lancaster and New York/ Kennedy International. A Reading-Lan caster - Philadelphia service, which was inaugurated on March 1, 1973, is flown under contract to Allegheny Airlines as part of Allegheny Commuter. Sud Air Transport (formerly Air Cote-Basque) operates scheduled services with a Beech Queen Air between Biarritz and Toulouse, together with charter flights throughout Europe and the Mediterranean countries. Sun Airlines Inc flies a Beech Queen Air on scheduled commuter services in Florida, linking Lakeland, St Peters burg/Albert Whitted Airport, Tampa and Tallahassee. Sun Valley Key Airlines, which is part of Key Transportation Inc, began sche duled commuter operations in 1964 as Key Airlines, serving Salt Lake City, Ogden, Brigham City, Logan and Provo (all in northern Utah). Boise and Sun Valley (Idaho) were added in June 1972, following the purchase of Sun Valley Airlines, when the present title was adopted. In addition to scheduled pas senger and freight services, the airline also provides summer charters through out the Intermountain West and to Idaho Primitive Areas. Swift Aire Lines began operations in May 1969 with a Piper Aztec between San Francisco and Sacramento. Scheduled services have since been con siderably expanded and currently serve San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, San Jose, Santa Maria, Paso Robles, Sacra mento, Visalia, Fresno and Bakersfield, all in California. Tanana Air Taxi Inc, located at Fair banks International Airport, was pur chased by its present owners in 1968 and obtained a state scheduled certifi cate in August 1972. Regular services are operated from Fairbanks to Minto, Manley, Tanana, Ruby and Galena. The company also offers charter and flight- school facilities from bases at Tanana and Fairbanks. Taos Airways is a new intra-state air carrier which undertakes scheduled services from Taos in northern New Mexico, along the Rio Grande to Albu querque. Two services are operated every Saturday. Taxi Avia France (TAF), known until recently as Avia Taxi France, operates twice daily between St Nazaire/Montoir and Paris/Orly Ouest. Charters are also undertaken within France and to other European destinations. TAF, which was formed in 1965, is now part of the TAT group which includes Touraine Air Transport and Rousseau Aviation. FLIGHT International. 14 February 1974 Territory Airlines Pty Ltd, based at Goroka Airport, was formed in January 1952. Apart from extensive charter operations, the airline also flies a large network of scheduled passenger and cargo services with Twin Otter and Cessna aircraft out of Mt Hagen, Mendi, Goroka/Chimbu, Madang and Wewak/ Angoram. A tour division, Talco Terri tory, was established in 1967 to cater for tourists, offering complete package holidays to Papua New Guinea. Head Office: PO Box 108. Goroka, Papua New Guinea. Thorpes Transport, owner E. K. Thorpe, provides a regular scheduled service with Piper Aztecs from Thursday Island to York Island, both lying off the Cape York Peninsula in northern Queensland. Time Airways Ltd, until 1969 known as Lethbridge Air Services Ltd, operates scheduled passenger services from Lethbridge and Calgary to Red Deer, Edmonton and Medicine Hat. Touraine Air Transport (TAT), formed in 1968, operates a network of regular domestic third-level services in France. Route points include Lyon, Clermont- Ferrand, Poitiers, La Rochelle, Tours, Le Mans, Rennes, Caen, Deauville and Paris, as well as Limoges, Bergerac, Bordeaux, Agen, Toulouse and Mont- pelier. TAF (Taxi Avia France) and Rousseau Aviation are associate com panies. Head Office: Aeroport de Saint Sym- phorien, 37001 Tours, France. Fleet: Four Fokker F.27, eight Beech 99, two DHC-6 Twin Otter. Transafricair provides thrice-weekly scheduled passenger services with small turboprop aircraft between Kigali, the capital of the central African state of Rwanda, and Bukavu across the border in Zaire (formerly the Congo). Trans Magic Airlines operates a net work of scheduled commuter services in Idaho, serving Twin Falls, Sun Valley, Boise and Burley, with an extension from Sun Valley and Burley to Salt Lake City (Utah). Trans-Mo Airlines Inc (Trans-Missouri Airlines) began operations in Missouri in November 1966. Cities currently served include Kansas City, St Louis, Sedalia, Jefferson City, Lake of the Qzarks and Cape Girardeau. Cessna 402s are utilised on these routes.
