FLORIDA HAS bought a Raytheon E-Systems DIAS-3100 differential global-positioning-system (DGPS) landing aid for installation at Flagler County Airport in the third quarter of 1996. The system will be approved for Special Category I precision approaches.
The UK's Racal Avionics, meanwhile, is to supply navigation aids for Lithuania's new Siauliai Airport, a refurbished former Soviet fighter air base, including Doppler VHF omni-range, distance-measuring equipment (DME) and two instrument-landing systems.
