Boeing continues to lead Airbus in orders this year, taking 643 gross orders during the first nine months, compared with 417 for its rival. However, Airbus continues to lead in output, delivering 271 aircraft, against Boeing’s strike-affected tally of 217. Airbus expects to deliver around 370 aircraft for the year, while Boeing’s pre-strike target was 320 aircraft.
