Glasair Aviation, formerly New Glasair and New Glastar, has expanded its Arlington, Washington-based factory, following strong demand for its composite kitplanes. A customer assembly centre has been built to enable buyers "to complete virtually everything" in three weeks. President Mikael Via says demand has escalated over the past year for its two-seat Glasair, Glastar and four-seat Sportman kits.
