Florida-based Winslow Life Raft Company has opened up European markets following its DGAC QACI-144 approval.
The French equivalent to the US's FAA TSO approval makes Winslow's corporate aviation life rafts eligible for direct installation in French registered aircraft.
Winslow submitted its application to the FAA for review, which consisted of drawings, designs, photos, test results and detailed descriptions of the complete line of Corporate Aviation life rafts. Winslow has been making life rafts since 1941.
Earlier this year, Winslow launched a certified service station in France.
